AN ATOMIC CLOCK FOR YOUR PC In an XP, you can double click the time down there in the lower right hand corner and get to a very interesting screen by checking the "Internet time" tab. Here you can select an "NTP" time source, possibly using one of the NTP pool provided. This means the clock on your PC can be within msecs of the correct time, as long as the NTP client running in the background can reach the NTP source. Pretty cool. In Win2k, and Win2K3, it is a little more difficult.... |
